The struggle to find cute princess dresses for a reasonable price is REAL!  Whether it be for a Disney trip, Halloween, or Birthday/Holiday gifts, I have done it all.

Limited in-store inventory is affecting most stores nowadays, but thankfully the 6 retailers below have plenty of toddler princess dresses in stock online. They are also well-known stores, which makes me feel safer shopping online. Some also have in-store pick-up (Walmart, Target, Macy’s) for online orders if you are short on time!

I hope this post rounding up where to buy toddler princess dresses saves you time by sharing items from reputable retailers that are easy to shop. Click any of the dresses below to head to the retailer’s website and grab your toddler princess dresses!

ShopDisney

As expected, Disney has the most incredible princess dresses! The shopDisney website has gorgeous dresses (all on sale at the time I am updating this post!), and the choice to add accessories, or just purchase the dress itself.

From Tiana and Ariel to Cinderella and Rapunzel, and everyone in between, these dresses are breathtaking. While they tend to be on the pricier side, the quality has been apparent in the ones we have and they last for years!!

Amazon

Look no further than Amazon for every imaginable princess and style. They have everything from elaborate princess costumes to $20 knock-offs. Be careful if you are purchasing very inexpensive dresses as the sizing can be way off. Check reviews for the most accurate information regarding quality as well.

We have had great luck with Amazon toddler princess dresses, but I tend to stick to the higher-rated items with many 4+ star reviews.

Target

Target has more reasonably priced dresses than Disney, but with limited princesses available. Target’s princess dresses are less expensive than Disney’s, and you can pick them up in-store, or have them shipped pretty quickly.

Little A had the Rapunzel dress shown below and it fit for quite awhile because the back is all velcro. However, it did start to fall apart early, on. Not a big deal for her, but something I noticed and want to be honest about.

Macy’s

While Macy’s has limited princesses available, their constant sales and low prices make them a great option to purchase toddler princess dresses. Plus they have in-store pickup which is a plus.

Walmart

Walmart can be tricky these days with their marketplace items and sellers I am not familiar with, but they do offer a lot of reasonably priced toddler princess dresses. All of the items below are sold by and shipped by Walmart themselves, with no third-party sellers.

Jane.com

I cannot write a toddler princess dress post without including Jane.com. These are my FAVORITE toddler princess dresses for hot weather. Also, they cost less than $25 and are machine-washable.

Jane’s toddler princess dresses are cotton, sleeveless and fully compatible with running and playing! Little A wore these to Disney in April (it was 95 degrees and 99% humidity at 7 am), and never complained about the heat.

If you are traveling to Disney in the summer, it will be hot! Many of the above dresses will be sticky, hot, and uncomfortable for your little princess as they are typically polyester and not very breathable.

  1. You’re amazing!! I have a little girl and she lives in her princess dresses. We have about eight right now. I normally get the dresses from Amazon but I will check out Jane. Thanks, Momma 😊💛

    1. Thank you Shelly! Definitely check out the Jane dresses, they are my new go to because they are soft, easy to maintain and my princess loves them! I can’t believe how well they’ve held up to repeated wears and laundry trips. IT’s amazing how many princess dresses we can accumulate for these kids isn’t it?!

  2. These are so cute and perfect to have something before we go to Disneyland! Thanks for the tips!

    1. Thank you Deanna! I put this list together as I was shopping for our Disney World trip and having lightweight dresses was a life saver. We went in April and it was still 90 degrees with humidity also in the 90s, my little princess would have melted in a big fancy princess dress (and taken everyone down on her way!) Have a blast at Disneyland!!

  3. Love this as I have a little princess myself! I personally love getting the soft tee-shirt like ones from Jane! They last a long time through a lot of wears. I actually have a couple that she’s getting for Christmas.

    1. Thank you Amy. I am so thrilled that I found the Jane dresses, I love that she can wear them to school and let’s be honest I don’t miss the glitter mess everywhere in the house 🙂
