Summer Bucket List for Families

Summer Bucket Lists are a great way for kids to think of fun ideas for summer vacation. But a Summer Bucket List for Families allows everyone to join in the fun!

Summer Bucket Lists for Families are an opportunity for your family to be creative and think of fun summer activities to do together.

But where do you even begin?! You may only have weekends together as a working parent family whose kids attend daycare or camp. If you are a healthcare provider who works weekends and holidays, maybe you have a day or two off midweek. Luckily there are ideas that are totally doable, even if you have limited time, or your day off happens to be a rainy day.

I hope my Summer Bucket List for Families ideas helps get your family’s creativity flowing and sets you up for a fun and exciting summer together!

Making Your Bucket List

This should be a family event. Everyone’s ideas are welcome!

Try to keep things doable. Kids want to check off every item on the list, it’s how they work. Don’t set yourself up for failure by putting things on there that you know cannot or will not be possible.

For example, while we cannot go find a real, live dinosaur like Baby J requested to add to the list, we plan to go to our local Dinosaur Park. Maybe you have a local Dinosaur-themed mini golf?
